Did you know?....... that long coat Dachshund puppies have a quieter personality than a smooth coat. Long coat puppies are not as active. They are more content to lay around and lay on your lap. They are more tolerant of their environment. They are great with children. My daughter always grabs a long coat to play with because they do not run away and she can dress them and put them in the stroller or basket. Their coat of fur grows to 2-4 inches and stops growing. The only additional grooming is to be brushed weekly. The long fur gives these puppies an elegant look. The English line dachshunds have a very regal appearance with big round dark eyes.
